“Music in Christian Worship” Course
June 13 @ 9:00 am – June 24 @ 12:00 pm CDT
A foundational course for clergy and musicians about the church’s music, covering theological underpinnings in various traditions, various worship streams and how music relates to them, congregational song, choral song, music leadership, language, and staff relationships. Attendees will gain a theology of music and denominational perspectives to use in planning worship. Can be taken for three hours graduate credit or for audit.
Pastors and priests must be equipped to work with musicians for combining spoken and sung word to glorify God in congregational worship.Read More
