- CMI welcomes Dr. Rene Schmidt to its staff as Director of Libraries and Associate Director of CMI in January, 2022.
- Dr. Robert Mann’s book, The Church Sings Its Faith, will be published by GIA early in 2022.
- Yearlong topical sessions on Saturday mornings will continue, bringing expertise on many topics and shared experiences, wisdom, and expertise from members.
- The graduate course, “Music in Christian Worship” taught with Brite Divinity School will be taught online, June 13-24, 2022.
- In August, 2022, CMI will host another event available for clergy, musicians and congregations.
- On October 30, 2022, the Rev. Dr. Peter Marty will lecture and hold a workshop on worship and music, concluding with a mass choir singing Evensong.
